Serious Crimes has detained businessman Sino Llanaj, after the latter built a building without a permit on public property.
"Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 6 detained citizen S. Ll., 50 years old, after it was determined that in his building (building under construction), in Yzberisht, he had carried out construction work without a permit, in the common area of the building," the police announced.
The National Inspectorate of Territorial Protection blocked the unauthorized facility with a construction area of 4,000 square meters, while the authorities have initiated the procedure to demolish the building.
Businessman Sino Llanaj has a problematic record with the law. On January 12, 2024, the entrepreneur was arrested for illegal possession of a weapon on the Fier-Vlora highway.
Also, 120 families have not been allowed to move into their apartments in his building in the former park due to the conflict he has with his partner Albert Allmuça.
The two owners, Sino Llanaj and Albert Allmuça, had agreed to build the facility at the former Bus Park within 2019, but the contract between them was broken and the facility was not built, causing problems not only between the two businessmen, but also with the residents, who continued to live in rented accommodation.
On January 13, 2021, the two owners were involved in a physical and verbal altercation, where the use of a weapon injured businessman Sino Llanaj, as well as a bystander, citizen Klodian Komino, who was hit in the thigh by a ricocheting bullet.
Also, during the fight, the facility's guard, Shkëlzen Biberi, was injured by hard objects.
