Changes in the Government/ Balluku leaves, Koçiu becomes Deputy Prime

Prime Minister Edi Rama has made some strong changes to the Government this afternoon, also dismissing Belinda Balluku as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, who is under investigation by SPAK for corruption.

Albana Koçiu has been appointed to the post of Deputy Prime Minister, replacing Belinda Balluku in this position.

Ferit Hoxha, who was Albania's former ambassador to the EU, has been appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Besfort Lamallari has been removed as Minister of Justice and appointed to the post of Minister of Interior, while Toni Gogu has been appointed to head the Ministry of Justice.

Erjona Ismaili has been appointed Minister for Parliamentary Relations.

Meanwhile, Enea Karakaçi is appointed Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, a position previously held by Belinda Balluku.
