Businessman Bujar Muça, owner of the company 'Delta Group', along with several other people have been escorted by the police, where it is previously reported that weapons were also seized in the surprise operation. The police have undertaken an operation this afternoon in the city of Elbasan, where according to sources, over 10 people suspected of links to the underworld have been escorted, and several firearms have been seized.
The operation was carried out in one of the well-known bars on the Elbasan-ish-Metalurgjik road, in the village of Katund i Ri. So far, the authorities have not provided details about the people escorted or the charges against them. Today's action is considered important, as it is reported that high-risk people were escorted.
Elbasan is known as one of the cities with a criminal presence in our country, as several criminal groups have their bases there.
Bujar Muça is the founder and owner of the company “Delta Group”. This company has been declared a strategic investor by the Albanian government and has benefited from over 242 thousand m2 of free state land in Dhërmi for the construction of resorts.
In parallel, the company has received permission to build a 100-story tower in the center of Tirana, behind Skanderbeg Square.
In 2017, Bujar Muça was elected as a member of parliament under the PDIU logo. He served in office for only 2 months, then resigned. Since then, Muça has not been involved in political life.
