Socialist MP Erjon Braçe has called on the government to urgently establish the Fuel Board. Through a post on social media, Braçe says that the hydrocarbon market model imposed by traders is a major problem for Albania.

THE HYDROCARBON MARKET MODEL THAT TRADERS HAVE IMPOSED ON THIS COUNTRY WITH A FREE MARKET ECONOMY IS THE BIG PROBLEM WE HAVE!
Oil jumped today on the STOCK EXCHANGE! But THE STOCK EXCHANGE DOES NOT HAVE A PRICE! The stock exchange during these two weeks has had large fluctuations day by day, but also hour by hour within the day;
WHAT PRICE ON THE STOCK EXCHANGE DURING THE DAY, DOES THE PRICE THAT TRADERS PLACE ON THE CHART TODAY REFLECT?
WHICH ONE? THE HIGHEST? WHY THIS ONE?
It's good that we are pretending to accept that the OIL WE ARE BUYING TODAY WAS PURCHASED BY THE BROKER ON THE STOCK EXCHANGE TODAY, WHY IT IS HELD IN THE DEPOSITS OF PORTO ROMANO OR VLORA; WHY DO WE HAVE TO ACCEPT THE HIGHEST PRICE ON THE STOCK EXCHANGE DURING THE DAY AND NOT ANOTHER PRICE ON THAT SAME DAY!!
Now it's done!
THE BOARD MUST BE ESTABLISHED ASAP AND BE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM THE ONE OF THE PREVIOUS FOUR YEARS, IN AT LEAST TWO IMPORTANT ELEMENTS:
First, the BOARD should no longer have TRADERS on its board; TRADERS HAVE ALREADY LOST THE LEGAL AND MORAL RIGHT TO SET PRICES IN THIS COUNTRY;
Second, the BOARD SHOULD NOT LEGITIMIZE THIS MARKET MODEL AND UNFAIR PRICES AS ITS PRODUCT!
Everything else - including fiscal elements, should be discussed in this light; WITH THIS MODEL, THE MARKET WILL BE EVERYWHERE!"
