Another dubious permit was approved by the government a few weeks ago, at the next meeting of the National Territorial Council. It concerns the construction of a 39-story tower with 4 underground floors (a total of 43 floors) in one of the most beautiful areas of Albania, which is being massively concreted week after week.

The decision comes a few days after another highly questionable permit in Saranda, where VoxNews exclusively denounced the abuse of power with the construction of a 32-story tower in the middle of Saranda. The tower would be erected by the former mayor of Vora, Shefki Karamuça, while it seems that the concrete mass with high towers is also affecting coastal areas.

Permits for tourist villages have been granted on public land in Velipoja, Rana e Hedhun in Shëngjin to move to the area of Cape Rodoni or even the area of Lalzi Bay. Permits for palaces on the coast have been granted again in Durrës, Golëm and Qerret, while a few weeks ago the master plan was presented for the occupation of the coastal area of Darëzeza in Fier, or Zvërneci and Sazan Island in Vlora.

In Vlora, with highly questionable decisions and occupations, dozens of mansions are being built every day. The most popular areas are undoubtedly Lungomare and Uji i Ftohtë, up to the vicinity of the Government's Holiday Residence, the territory and building of which were given to private individuals for development.

But the highly questionable permits don't end there! VoxNews has exclusively obtained another government decision to grant another 43-story tower in the Uji i Ftohtë area.

At one of the June meetings, the heads of state, who are also presidents and members of the National Council for Territory and Water, approved a construction permit.

It is about "a building permit for a 'Multifunctional Building 1-39 floors, with 4 underground floors located in the 'Uji i Ftohtë' neighborhood, Vlora Municipality, with the developer entity 'G&E Investment' sh.pk,'" the documents researched by VoxNews state.

But why is there a need for such a tall tower in a coastal area? There were palaces in that area and one of them, belonging to Lulzim Basha's father-in-law, was demolished by the current government a few years ago. And in the same place, other permits are being issued, even for multi-storey palaces, by the same government!

VoxNews also researched the firm that will be granted the license, "G&E Investment", which was founded in 2022 with a capital of only 100 thousand lek.

Its shareholders are Gledis Çela and Endrit Shabani, each with 50% of the shares. Fate and perhaps their connections meant that they received a super permit in a highly coveted area, to place another boil on the coast.
