Clashes between two shareholders at Vlora Airport have become so tense that the government has now sent in the police to keep the situation under control.
Numerous police forces have been deployed this morning at Vlora airport to prepare for further clashes between employees of Behgjet Pacolli's 'Macbo' company and Valon Ademi's '2A Group', the two partners in the construction of VIA.
The cause was a conflict between the two partners that ended up in court. Yesterday, employees of Valon Ademi's company did not allow 22 subcontractors called by Pacolli to enter the airport to carry out work inside the airport. They were not allowed to enter the construction site.
Meanwhile, the latter blocked the main door, preventing the exit of '2A Group' vehicles.
The situation remains tense, and it is expected that there will be gatherings and protests from the parties to the conflict during the day.
For this reason, the police have increased their presence in the area in order to prevent incidents and maintain order.
