The Albanian Road Authority announced that the Librazhd road will be opened starting tomorrow, Tuesday, March 3rd.
After the collapse of the bridge at the place called "Arrat e Gurres", this axis has been blocked for more than 2 weeks, practically isolating the entire Southeast of the country. ARRSH said today that movement will resume through a new alternative route.
"After intensive intervention by teams on the ground and continuous work with additional vehicles and workers, tomorrow at 12:00 it will be possible to open the road segment in the area called "Arrat e Gurrës" to traffic," declared the director of ARA, Ami Kozeli.
The new segment, about 1.3 kilometers long, is being built next to the railway in the Shkumbin Riverbed and will be accessible to all vehicles, from small cars to trucks.
This intervention aims to temporarily ease traffic in this segment until the situation is finally resolved.
