Capital Point, the company that became part of the Forbes Global Properties network, is found to be under the tax insurance measure due to unpaid debts in Taxes. The company, which was publicly praised by Prime Minister Edi Rama, has been under the measure since October last year because it has not paid 18 thousand euros in arrears.
"The taxpayer has been sent the document "Notice and request to pay", but he has not paid yet. These obligations are subject to coercive measures in accordance with the relevant tax legislation," the Taxes letter states.
The Directorate for the Collection of Unpaid Tax Liabilities of the Central Region emphasizes that through this measure, it aims to prevent the alienation of property and other property rights belonging to this taxpayer from being allowed in the National Business Center, until the tax liabilities are fully settled.
Capital Point under tax seizure
Capital Point is a real estate agency owned by Ilda Zaloshnja and an American citizen from Massachusetts named Brandan Arthur Mativi. The day before, the company held a public event where it announced its merger with the Forbes Global Properties network.
The ceremony, where the CEO of Forbes Global Properties was invited, was also attended by Prime Minister Edi Rama, who publicly congratulated the two owners of Capital Point for bringing Forbes Global Properties to Albania.
