Consulting & Management Albania, the company involved in the 850 thousand euro tender scandal that led to SPAK Benet Beci, continues to receive public money as if nothing had happened. The company owned by Ervis Myftari has been declared the winner of the 780 thousand euro tender for the training of Albcontrol staff in case of emergencies.
According to documents filed with the Public Procurement Agency, the tender with a fund limit of 75 million lek or about 780 thousand euros had two bids. Consulting & Management Albania offered to perform the service for 69.5 million lek, while ALBANIAN TECHNOLOGY DISTRIBUTION of Nursen Metulit gave a bid of 71 million lek.
Albcontrol has decided to announce the winning bid of Consulting & Management Albania, which has a great record of tenders received by Albcontrol.

Consulting & Management Albania's name became known to the public in the scandal of a tender worth 850 thousand euros for the development of the energy sector. The fixed tender led to the official indictment of the former director of KESH, who is now on trial for violating equality in tenders.
According to communications found on the phone of former road director Evis Berberi, it is suspected that the tender was fixed in exchange for a bribe of more than 300 thousand euros. In one of the SMS messages found by SPAK prosecutors, referring to the tender for the study, Evis Berberi writes to Benet Beci: "500 thousand euros for Harvard professors, 320 thousand euros for us with two school classes."
But Berber's compromising SMS to Beci is not the only evidence. It later emerged that the procurement was carried out exactly that way.
The official winner of the tender in question was the company Consulting & Management Albania, which was nevertheless left out of the measures by SPAK, which failed to prove the bribery but simply brought Beci and 6 other former KESH officials to trial for violating equality in tenders.
