Naya resembles a mountain of concrete blocks, seemingly suffocating each other. The bright colors clash with each other, creating ideas, sometimes of a poorly drawn kindergarten and sometimes of a dormitory of a failed socialist state. While the windows in that large mass of colored concrete look like prison windows. In short, Naya is a kind of urban apocalypse in Shkozë.
On social networks and online forums, citizens and architecture enthusiasts are almost unanimous in their assessment of the ugliness. They differ only in the epithets they use. There are those who call it a prison, others a rehabilitation facility and even a psychiatric hospital.
In fact, Naya is in the wake of a style that is being consolidated violently in every area of Tirana. A style that initially started with Mangalemi, but which became much more aggressive over time.
From the Nokia Residence in the Ali Demi area, to PaskOne in Paskuqan. From the terrifying twisted Ballad in Farka, to the Naya apocalypse in Shkodra. This is a competition of brutality. Kontakt is becoming the brush of the Great Painter and Sultan Architect who disfigures Tirana according to his brutalist vision.

This is a kind of aesthetic nightmare, that hits you in the face and from which there is no escape, no matter which corner of Tirana you are in. A madness, that someone needs to say enough. No one can have so much hatred for Tirana.
