According to documents filed with the Central Bank, the object of activity will be the development of real estate, ownership and management of hotels, etc.

But although the company's name says Sazan, the project the company will actually be involved in is the Zvërnec resort. But who is behind the Qatari company?
The Khayyat Brothers
According to documents registered in Qatar, the company was founded by Khaled Zi Alnon and Mohamad Omar Almashhour. The former is a member of the board of directors of Assets Group, while the latter is the chief financial officer and personal advisor to Moutaz Al-Khayyat.

Assets Group is one of the many companies owned by the Khayyat brothers, Moutaz and Ramiz Khayyat. Born in Syria, they have now moved to Qatar, where they have built a veritable financial empire, which consists of several very large companies such as Assets Group, Power International Holding, Urbacon Trading and Contracting, etc.
But in addition to their great financial power, the Khayyat brothers are also known as partners of Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of US President Donald Trump.
The day before, the prestigious American New York Times devoted a long article to the Khayat brothers and their connection to Kushner. Titled "Syrian Billionaires Needed a Favor in Washington, They Called Trump's Name," the article explains in detail who the Khayat brothers are and their connection to President Trump's family.
Among the partnerships, the American newspaper cites the negotiation of an agreement to build a multi-billion dollar resort in Albania.
Sazani? No, Zvërnec.
Although the name of the Khayyats' company in Albania is Sazan Operations, the company will actually participate in the construction of the Zvërnec resort. The Qatari giants will be one of the constituent companies of the consortium for the construction of the ultra-luxury resort, the permit for which has been obtained by the Zvërnec South Adriatic Development shpk company.
The latter is owned by a Dutch company, but it will not be the only company in the project. Kapitali has previously reported that the Khayyat brothers will also be part of the project. (Read here) .
The presence of international giants of this magnitude signals that the Zvërnec project is rapidly advancing towards realization, unlike the Sazan project, which seems more complex, but also more difficult to implement.
A day ago, the Strategic Investment Committee announced that it had postponed the deadline for the implementation of the 1.4 billion euro project to build a luxury resort on the island of Sazan, arguing that technical, legal and infrastructural complexity had slowed the progress of the initial plan.
