Rama forgets Lilo, Salillari, Morina/ The Prime Minister warns of a blacklist

Prime Minister Edi Rama has warned of more severe punitive measures against people who carry out illegal construction, or those who abuse permits.

During the presentation of legal measures for the protection of property and territory, Rama said that even builders who sell an apartment twice will be punished and the building will be immediately confiscated.

"It's no longer okay to open platforms to the street. The second is about the illegality of legal construction. Another phenomenon that we will stop once and for all. There is a significant improvement, but we are not interested in the improvement, but only what is wrong. We will do all these things by holding all the people who are the links in the construction accountable. In a construction where the project is transformed and disfigured, everyone is part of a chain of blame, at the center is the builder. Builders who will be found guilty will be blacklisted and will no longer be able to build. We cannot continue to see how some builders deceive citizens. It reaches the absurdity that an apartment will be sold twice, the measure will be severe and the confiscation of the property will be immediate. It is extremely important to block the chain," Rama said.

This is Edi Rama's second warning about illegal construction. The head of government had warned about the same thing a few years ago, when Belinda Balluku and Bledi Çuci were walking around illegally built buildings in the middle of Tirana like gypsies.

But these unauthorized buildings were not only not confiscated, but their builders were rewarded with building permits in the most coveted areas of the capital and the Albanian coast.
