The government's number two, and also the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Belinda Balluku, has announced that the Qukës-Qafë Plloçë axis will open tomorrow.
Tomorrow, at 11:00, it will be accessible to vehicles with all signage.
Works on this axis began in 2009 and after a series of ups and downs, this axis will now be open to traffic.
Qukës-Qafë Plloçë will shorten the distance from the capital, but also the time since we will have a new road with a higher speed that will bring the capital closer to the Southeast.
Present at the opening of this action will be Prime Minister Edi Rama, Minister Belinda Balluku, the head of the Korça Region, Niko Peleshi, the mayor of Pogradec, Ilir Xhakoli, the mayor of Korça, Sotiraq Filo, and other officials.
But again, it seems to be a road built with problems in its first two lots as it is narrow, with curves and can create traffic.
It should be mentioned that due to the altitude the road traverses, it must be in the proper parameters, especially during the winter period when there may be snowfall and frost on this axis.
