Wizz Air announces the largest expansion in Albania at Tirana International Airport! The company will base its 14th aircraft, the Airbus A321neo, in Tirana, opening 4 new destinations: Stockholm Arlanda, Cologne, Billund and Tenerife, as well as increasing the frequencies of existing routes to Milan, Brussels, Turin and Berlin.

This development brings over 500,000 additional seats each year, creates more than 35 direct jobs at Wizz Air and supports over 350 other jobs in the industry. With a total of 57 destinations to 17 countries, this expansion strengthens Albania’s connections with Europe and confirms TIA’s role as a leading hub in the region.
