Investing in young people and strengthening their potential remains a key pillar for the sustainable development of society. In this context, the Vlora Marina project has undertaken an initiative in support of education, by awarding scholarships to two excellent students of the "Ismail Qemali" University in Vlora.

The scholarship recipients are Ruben Gjonezalaj and Maldi Budlla, who are pursuing their Master's studies, respectively in the Business Administration and Finance programs. The scholarship award ceremony took place on the University premises, with the presence of the Vice-Rector of the University, Ms. Frosina Londo, the students and the administrator of the Vlora Marina project, Ervin Bacaj. During the event, Bacaj praised the commitment and academic results of the students, emphasizing the importance that Vlora Marina attaches to investing in people and the new generation.

"This scholarship program is a concrete support for Vlora. This is a way to encourage young people to contribute to the development of the city and the country through their knowledge and dedication. We believe that investing in education and young talents is the most valuable investment for the future.

This philosophy is also reflected in the very vision of the Vlora Marina project, which, beyond urban transformation and tourism development, aims to create a long-term impact on the local economy and community. For this very reason, supporting education, culture, social activities and promoting talented young people remains one of our main priorities”, said Bacaj.
He further added that the aim of the project is for this support to not remain only symbolic, but to be accompanied by concrete opportunities for young people, through employment or the development of professional practices with the Vlora Marina teams. Vlora Marina will create numerous employment opportunities for the city of Vlora, in fields such as finance, administration, marketing, hotel tourism, maritime services and operational management.

Through these initiatives, the project aims not only to professionally empower the younger generation, but also to contribute to the creation of a modern work culture, integrating young talents into a professional environment that reflects the best international standards.
Meanwhile, the Vice-Rector of "Ismail Qemali" University, Ms. Frosina Londo, expressed her gratitude for this initiative and described it as a positive example of cooperation between private enterprise and higher education institutions in the function of youth development and improving the education system.
After the ceremony, the students visited the Vlora Marina project sales offices, where they were introduced to the vision and development concept of this project. The visit then continued to the construction site, where they saw firsthand the progress of the works and the transformation that the project is expected to bring to the coastal city.

Vlora Marina is a modern development in the heart of the city of Vlora, which will bring the first world-class marina in Albania, with over 400 berths for yachts and mega-yachts, premium waterfront residences, service spaces and a dynamic community. The project aims to contribute to the development of the blue economy, strengthen elite tourism, transform Vlora into a modern Mediterranean destination and generate many new jobs, creating new employment opportunities and professional development for the local community and the new generation.
