BALFIN Group, headquartered in Tirana but active on two continents, is expanding its footprint in the real estate development industry outside Albania. In a video recently published on social media, BALFIN Group Vice President for Real Estate, Ardiana Sokoli, talks about the group's strategy and the plans it has on the horizon in this industry.

What is BALFIN's approach to the real estate development industry?
We work dedicatedly to develop large and sustainable projects that create long-term value. I can say that our focus is based on three main directions: expansion into new markets, the introduction of innovative concepts, and socio-environmental sustainability at the core of every project that comes to life.
How is the BALFIN Group's real estate portfolio transforming?
Since 2002, our portfolio has transformed from primarily residential buildings to more complex ones that also offer services. Today, the Group develops projects that combine living, retail, hospitality and entertainment. These are projects that today are unique and elite destinations. This journey best reflects our commitment to having an increasingly diverse portfolio, in line with market needs and constantly introducing new concepts.
How is sustainability affecting real estate today?
Awareness of the importance of caring for the environment and the social component is growing rapidly and this makes us happy. Seeing more and more clients and partners embracing environmental standards is like an appreciation for the work we have done all these years. This is a motivation for us to continue in this direction by integrating these standards in every future project. We aim to continue to be at the forefront of sustainable developments in real estate.
What are your plans on the horizon?
Currently, our largest investments are in Albania, the United States of America, Austria, Canada and North Macedonia. Meanwhile, we are evaluating opportunities for new projects in Greece and Italy. Looking to the future, our focus remains unchanged on projects that bring innovation to the communities where they are developed, introduce new standards in construction, have a long-term impact and create value.
