The Public Procurement Commission is faced with an unprecedented situation, as the company Advanced Business Solutions has urgently sent a letter requesting the cancellation of the withdrawal from the complaints for the AKSHI tenders.
In the letter, the company owned by Gerond Meçen says that the request to withdraw from the complaints was not made by it, but by someone else who hacked its e-Albania account.
"Today, on 13.08.2025, we have been made aware of the fact that on 12.08.2025, unauthorized persons have managed to interfere with our e-albania account by uploading documents to the complaints section addressed to your institution, according to which "withdrawal of the complaint submitted" for several procurement procedures is declared," states the urgent letter that the companies Advanced Business Solutions and Datalog have sent to the Procurement Commission.

ABS letter to the KPP
Advanced Business Solution and Datalog are in a fierce battle with AKSHI. Until a few days ago, they had 4 large AKSHI tenders in the appeal procedure at the Public Procurement Commission. But suddenly, on August 12, requests from both companies to withdraw from the appeal of each of the tenders in the process appeared on the PPC website.
This decision caused quite a bit of surprise in the IT market, as everyone tried to understand what had happened, that Geron Meçe had withdrawn from the frontal war with AKSHI. But now the company says that it did not withdraw.
The company Advanced Business Solutions has contracts for cybersecurity in several Albanian state institutions. But the company, which is supposed to maintain the integrity of the state's cyber infrastructure, has had its account hacked on e-Albania.
Until two years ago, ABS was the main contractor of AKSHI, receiving billions of lek in tenders with compromised competitions and even secret procedures. But unexpectedly, in the second half of 2023, the company was deprived of all access to public funds. ABS's place as the largest contractor in AKSHI tenders was taken by Ermal Beqiri's Soft & Solution.
Since then, Gerond Meçe's ABS has appealed almost every tender conducted by AKSHI. The situation became so critical that it brought AKSHI to a complete standstill and this year the Agency has not managed to close a single procurement procedure, despite having tendered over 70 million euros.
