The seizure of electronic devices such as cell phones or computers is no longer the exclusive right of SPAK. Tax authorities have also begun seizing companies' computers as part of their investigations into tax evasion.
The Tax Administration announced that it seized the computer units of several real estate agencies during inspections in recent days. The seizures were made by the Tax Investigation, within the framework of inspections for the Implementation of the Sectoral Construction Plan.
Through an official announcement, Taxes announced that they have conducted detailed inspections of 9 real estate agencies, where they found serious legal violations ranging from non-declaration of employees to evasion with apartment sales prices.
"From the information received from the computer units, it appears that there is tax evasion with the sales prices of apartments," the Taxes announcement states.
The administration warned that the action just launched in the construction sector is not temporary, but will continue with determination against any entity that hides taxes and does not declare employees with their real salary.
