Businessman Agim Xhindoli will build another large solar power plant, this time in Savër, Lushnja. The Ministry of Infrastructure announced that his company 3X Energy has applied for the construction of the photovoltaic park, which does not benefit from support measures.
"The company "3X ENERGY" sh.pk, has expressed interest and submitted to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, the application for the construction of a photovoltaic plant with an installed capacity of 70 MW, for the production of electricity from renewable sources, which is not subject to concession and does not benefit from support measures, located in Cadastral Zone 3268, Saver Village, Lushnje Administrative Unit," the Ministry of Infrastructure announced.
The 3X company is 90 percent owned by businessman Agim Xhindoli, while Adrian Dule has 10 percent of the shares. This is the second photovoltaic plant that businessman Xhindoli has put on the construction tracks. Last year, he, together with businessman Paqsor Buzi, obtained 60 hectares of state land from the Municipality of Saranda with a symbolic lease to build another large solar power plant there.
This decision by the Municipal Council caused great opposition from the residents of Nivica, who claim that the property is theirs and cannot be alienated while it is in court.
Mr. Xhindoli is becoming one of the largest builders of solar power plants in the country, surpassing 130 megawatts of installed power. This businessman became known when he was invited by Prime Minister Edi Rama on his podcast. This invitation seems to have opened the way for the Lushnjaran businessman to obtain licenses, permits and even public land from the state.
