The government has approved the first decisions in function of the Mountain Package. Several villages in Belsh, Elbasan, Përmet and Skrapar have been declared Priority Areas for the Development of the Mountain Economy by government decision.
According to the decisions of the Council of Ministers, the types of activities that will be allowed in these areas are those of economic development, industrial development, and tourism.
The government has announced that the mountains package foresees the granting of land for 1 euro to private entities that will invest in these areas, and in parallel, they are offered a tax exemption for four years.
