The film is repeated, SPAK begins to issue new charges against Balluk

On the day that the Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime decided to suspend Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku from office and block her passport, news broke in the media about another possible affair of the former most powerful man in Albania, after Edi Rama. It concerns the 20 million euro tender for lot 4 of the Tirana Ring Road.

SPAK investigations have found evidence that this tender was also dictated by Belinda Balluku and is predetermined. A new charge has also been filed against her for violating equality in tenders for the Unaza e Madhe case. It is believed that Balluku's conversations with her subordinates have again shed light on the next affair, just like in the case of the Llogara tunnel.

The criteria for the tender for Lot 4 of the Great Ring Road are suspected, according to SPAK, to have been set specifically to favor the construction companies Euroteorema, Pevlaku and NOVA Construction.

This is a repeated film with the high-ranking officials that SPAK is taking from Edi Rama. The same thing happened with Ilir Beqaj, Lefter Koka, Arben Ahmetaj and Erion Veliaj. As soon as the dam is broken with a mild accusation, other more serious accusations are added along the way.

What remains to be seen is how far the measures against the former deputy prime minister will go. Will the case against her be closed simply with a political execution or will Balluku suffer the fate of her colleagues, who were deprived of their freedom?

Meanwhile, the other big unknown is how far the tunnel investigations will go in the chain of responsibility. Because everyone knows, even SPAK and GJKKO, that the Llogara tunnel was not built by Belinda. It was a business between two sultans.
