Minister of Agriculture Andis Salla, for Report TV, says that with the new agricultural scheme, support for livestock farmers will increase, which also foresees grants of up to 10 thousand euros for young people who want to open a business in the livestock sector. Minister Salla told journalist Eliza Gjediku that the way of benefiting from the oil scheme is also expected to change.

"We are discussing all the new measures that we will decide within a few days to apply in the new national scheme. We are reviewing the application part of this new measure or the measure that we have supported in 2025 in order to find the method and what we should support for farmers and oil is one of the discussions that we are having. In a few days, we will also come out with the new scheme which will also include the new package that we will decide on both for oil and the support of others.

"As I told you before, we will support livestock farmers to increase the number of livestock farmers, to support young men and women with a financial package and those to increase the number of livestock farmers, but also the financial support that our livestock farmers have requested in all the meetings that we have held in the 12 regions of Albania and it will be a priority sector for the new measures that we will create," said the minister.
Meanwhile, regarding the sovereign guarantee, Salla said that municipalities are also expected to be included. 

"The sovereign guarantee that we have had a meeting with the governor and second-tier banks to facilitate and enable us not only to provide the orientation that we will provide to farmers to apply and for them to be part of this measure and package for them, but also to provide them with the support of AZHBR, with the support of the number that we have set for them and with the agro-points that we have on the ground, but including here for the first time we can also say that municipalities create those access and opportunities that we can support by orienting us and saying that the municipality should go through a check in all the applications that we will carry out," said Salla.
