Balluku retains power, appoints her people to head ARRSH and KESH

Despite the problems with justice and SPAK's request to lift immunity, Belinda Balluku seems to continue to maintain her great power within the socialist majority. The latest confirmation comes from the appointments of two directors, among the most important, of the state, that of the Albanian Road Authority and the director of KESH.

This Wednesday, the Albanian government appointed Ami Kozel to head the Albanian Road Authority and Viola Haxhiademi to head the Albanian Power Corporation.

Kozeli and Haxhiademi are two of Belinda Balluku's closest people, with the former holding the position of deputy minister to this day, while Haxhiademi was Balluku's general secretary.

Kozeli and Haxhiademi replace the two arrested directors of ARRSH and KESH, Gentian Gjyli and Erald Elezin, respectively.

Although after the public explosion of the dossier, Belinda Balluku's political power has been drastically reduced, it seems that the reinstated Deputy Prime Minister continues to maintain great executive power by dictating the appointments of her people in state agencies, where the state's biggest money is at stake.

However, the troubles with justice seem to be close to the new directors as well. At least, Viola Haxhiademi is on the phone with SPAK due to several cases under investigation, which probably means that the waltz of state directors will be in high circulation these days, until Balluk's fate is finally resolved.
